This is a shot from the ruins of Ephesus in Turkey. To be honest, the color stood out almost this well in real life. :)

We took off early in the morning to head back to Denver. The land was foggy. We dug up veggies to eat in Colorado. I love this garden. Good work, Mom!

My office is on the 9th floor, so I can see about everything in the South Bay. Here’s some interesting weather patterns.

I really enjoy making beads out of polymer clay.

There, I said it.

Honestly, it’s a kind of meditation for me. Best of all, I can listen to things like podcasts and university lectures while I bead. Someday, I’ll make the world’s most amazing bead and all the Beadpeople of the world will bow down before me.

I will become the Bead King.

And the world will never be the same.

Far to the right, you can just see the edge of Goat Rock, where my ignition coil exploded in September. Ah…memories.

I was working with the BBC during the Democratic National Convention last year. Ted Koppel (pictured above) was trying to get his headset on when I snapped this, a few hours before Obama took the podium.

Jackie and I stayed in a lovely little studio right next to the river in Guerneville, CA. We saw lots of nice things like trees and flowers.

These are passion flowers that grew outside our little studio by the river.

I can read Greek, but I understand not a lick of it. That makes this giant old stone thing very difficult to figure out.

Most of us along with most of our host family. They were super-awesome and we had too many laughs. I’ll miss them.
